Business Consultancy meets PhD-level Data Science
Dr. Jan Niederreiter has earned his PhD in Economics, Data Science and Management at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, Italy. In 2020, he was honored by the Italian Society of Economists with the best PhD thesis award for his research at the frontier of machine learning and economics.
Since then he enhanced his problem solving abilities in the business context by re-joining Allianz Germany where he currently works as a Product Owner for AI/ML solutionas overseeing the development and stable run of various artificial intelligence based applications.
In addition, he rejoined academia as an external lecturer teaching economics and project management at Hochschule für angewandtes Management (University for Applied Management).
Jan's strong academic background is underlined by various awards and scholarships, such as being alumni of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation.
